Fires from the deep
“Quickly, you grubs!” Grenk had told his rabble to hurry up. “Close to the edge, we are!”. The Human keep was close, just a day or so. These mountains were notably feared for its violent nature. They said spirits dwelled deep within the burrows and caverns of the deep and rumbled as soon as trespassers came too close. Grenk knew this all to well. His entire rabble stumbled as an exceptionally savage earthquake shook the ground beneath them. Grenk turned and saw the volcano bleed behind him.
Heat and anger rose from the depths with a passion, the energy pressurised and extremely dense. The red hot energy melted stone and metal alike. The condensed energy grew to such proportions… it started to… see. In it’s heated blurred vision claws of molten rock came into being. It burst into the world in a violent magmatic eruption, and a fiery Elemental towered over the land.
Grenk ran as fast as his feet could carry him.
